TREND || My Baseball Cap Obsession

 If you are yet to embrace the sporty trend this season, please doll up, sporty is the new chic and I am all about being sporty, while still looking chic and stylish.

Ranging from baseball caps to your track suits, sweatshirts, varsity jacket, sneakers, the list is endless, my top obsession is the baseball cap, yea sweedie, just believe!
         
The baseball cap makes it easy to cover up a bad hair day, add a more masculine touch to your outfit, and stay super comfy throughout your day. From classy caps supporting your favourite sports team, to leather caps that are perfect for a more edgy look, there's seriously a baseball cap that you can wear with just about everything.

WARDROBE ESSENTIAL || How to pair your palazzo pants

Palazzo pants have an incredibly simple shape, but wearing them isn't so easy. Because the silhouette is dramatic—long, loose with an extremely wide leg that flares out from the waist—you need to balance it out with just the right add-ons. Ahead, four rules to follow when styling the tricky trend.

1. Look for a high-waisted silhouette
Balance out the volume with a pair that cinches in your waist and sits just above your hips, 

2. Wear a high heel to elongate your legs
Create a long lean line from waist to toes with heels. While it might not be your usual move, it will ensure your pants won’t drag on the floor. 

3. Pair with a fitted top
Steer clear of boxy shapes and chunky knits; you want a body-skimming blouse that will reveal your upper half. 

4. Layer with a cropped jacket
A long overcoat will swallow you whole, but a cropped style will show off your frame while keeping you warm.

NOIR SIDE OF SUMMER IN NIGERIA

Wearing an all black ensemble on the street of Lagos is not always so much fun, only few people appreciate it, some wonder if you are alright and you get so much attention, good and bad ones dearie! I am sure few people can relate. I paired this look to church and I almost regretted it! But, the few people complimenting me gave me little assurance, that it might not be so bad. Lol!

The amazing thing about pairing an all black ensemble is that you can never go wrong with it, and it's suitable for any season, never goes out of trend and it's perfect for those who like playing safe.

It is so much fun to wear prints and patterns and crazy colors, other times it can be just as fun by changing your look to pairing various shades of one color from head to toe.

'70s SUEDE

Whether in naturals, brights or muted pastels, suede had emerged as a chic, warm-weather option.

Suede, once thought of as a material for cooler temperatures, continues to show its seasonal versatility. Offered in neutrals, brights or muted pastels, leather's softer cousin has lightened up for resort-giving shoes and even bags a sophisticated touch.

This look is a combination of everything trendy this season.

It's a perfect dress for anywhere you choose to wear it to, remember it's not the dress, but how you wear it.

The floral print creates a classy, romantic blend for this pleated skirt and I am in Love with the skirt! lol

   

The cold shoulder trend is still big this summer. Shoulder baring is secure without being obvious; chic without being attention grabbing. There is this  breezy nonchalance to off the shoulder look that is different to find fault with and if by any chance you are yet to own one, I wonder what you are waiting for? Lol

This season, you can barely go wrong with a neck choker and stud earring.  

 

It's a perfect simple dressy/casual look for a sassy summer date night or dinner with your girlfriends!
